Wyoming Jade Grooved Form

Design:  This piece has a lot of ties to my earlier work. I’ve always liked how grooves look in Jade. The thin ridges are more translucent + in sunlight you get awesome reflection lines reinforcing the form.

Stone: This Jade is a deep forest green and comes from Wyoming in the US.  It has some clear horizontal lines where thousands or millions of years ago a fracture in the stone has healed itself. They always remind me of lighting.
