Pounamu Toki – Olive clouds

Design-wise this carving is based on a toki or chisel. A functional toki (with the end sharpened) would have been used as a tool for carving. The toki as a carving is commonly associated with a maker or as a symbol of strength.

This pounamu is a medium green with olive stain cloud fractures.
