Pounamu Ruru / Morepork
This pounamu is a translucent medium green. It has some beautiful cloud fractures that resemble feathers.
I find a gloss finish quite hard visually while a rough finish doesn’t always show the stones colour or translucence. I think a satin finish is the perfect middle ground. It is warm and tactile visually yet still shows the stones personality.
