Long Pounamu Toki

$420

Design: This pendant is based on a toki (which is a adze or axe shape).  Larger toki would have been for woodworking jobs like canoes or houses while smaller ones would have been used for finer work like carving.  They have been recorded from ancient Egyptian times up to the present day (now mostly made out of metal).  The design is normally associated with strength or someone who is a maker.

Stone: This stone is a deep green Pounamu with beautiful light cloud fractures going through it.  The tip has a nice glow with held up to the sun.
