Flower Pounamu bead bracelet

$950

I made these beads from different shades of flower jade. This type of Pounamu comes from the Marsden field which is known for its high quality Jade.

This is a description of flower jade from a great book on NZ Jade called Mana Pounamu –

“Distinctive in many Marsden stones are the contrasting cream-coloured markings known as “flower jade”. These are usually found on the outer edges of the boulders but sometimes throughout or in the vicinity of fractures”. Mana Pounamu, pg43 Russell Beck / Maika Mason.

The little slider beads that go into the silver clasp are made out of a dark Pounamu.

– Marsden Flower Pounamu with dark Pounamu slider beads.
– Sterling silver clasp (made by me)
– The total length including the clasp is 215mm.

Shipping is free within NZ / Australia and a flat $20 NZD worldwide.
