Cassiar Jade Drop

Design-wise my drops are based on a thin Toki or chisel. The original Toki design (with the end sharpened) would have been used as a tool for carving.

I’ve carved this with facets/planes on the sides and top to capture and reflect the light.  I have also put a gentle back curve on it so it sits well on the chest.

This Jade is from the Cassiar mountains in BC Canada.  It is a beautiful translucent “apple” green colour.  A high quality clean Jade.  It has some barely visible neon green flecks and a few black inclusions.
