Carnelian Hook

This piece is carved out of honey coloured stone from the Coromandel. I think it is carnelian (yellow/orange chalcedony) but it might be honey coloured agate.
The thing that stands out to me about this stone is its lustre, it has a very warm feel about it. Beautifully translucent.
