Black Jade Drop
Design-wise my drops are based on a thin Toki or chisel. The original Toki design (with the end sharpened) would have been used as a tool for carving.
I’ve carved this with facets/planes on the sides and top to capture and reflect the light. I have also put a gentle back curve on it so it sits well on the chest.
This Jade is from Wyoming in the US. It looks totally black but is really very very dark green. If you hold it up to direct sunlight you can see a beautiful thin green glow around the edges.
