Beach Ruru

I carved this ruru out of a beach stone.  I’m not sure what it would be classed as. It is dark grey, very fine grained and a joy to carve. I’ve left the back sanded smooth to balance out the carved front.

Size – 47mm high
Adjustable hand plaited black cord.
