Pounamu Weta Sculpture – wip #2
This will be a sculpture of a Pounamu NZ tree Weta on a carved wooden base.
My process goes from the initial idea to a sketch to a 3D sketch and then onto the final carving.
Here’s my sketch of my basic idea which I’ve ran past my client.
The next stage is to make a 1:1 scale rough sculpture to see how it all looks in 3D before I start the final carving.
