Pounamu Huia – wip
I’ve been working on this design for quite a while. It came together during a sketching session yesterday morning.
For the non NZers, the Huia is an extinct native bird. The female had a long curved beak whereas the males was short and straighter.
I’m making the body out of a beautiful dark Pounamu with lighter bands at the bottom (Huia had white ends to their tail feathers)
