Pounamu Huia couple
This is something I had thought about while making my first Huia so was thrilled when I was commissioned to make a male/female Huia set.
I’ve cut the Pounamu with lighter banding at the bottom to represent the Huias white tail markings.
The carvings will slot together to form a rough heart shape.
