Kokopu Morkpork / Ruru
This is a medium sized carving of my Ruru / Morepork design. The stone is a beautiful Kokopu Pounamu. Kokopu is named after our spotted native trout.
I’ve carved the back to make the eyes and beak more translucent when held up to the sun.
Material – Kokopu Pounamu (NZ Jade) and Sterling silver (eyes)
Size – 50mm high X 36mm wide
Hand plaited adjustable tan cord
