Long Dark Pounamu drop
This is a beautiful long curved drop. I’ve carved the front into three strong facet (planes) which captures and reflect light.
The Jade is a Pounamu (NZ Jade). It is dark green with light cloud fractures. It looks greener in sunlight, almost black inside.
Design-wise my drops are based on a thin Toki or chisel. The original Toki design (with the bottomvend sharpened) would have been used as a tool for carving.
