Beautiful Pounamu,
I’ve just finished these two carvings for the same family. The larger is my Rolled Leaf design and the 2nd a faceted drop.
My Rolled Leaf design is about nature covering and protecting us (often from ourselves). The idea was originally about us as a race but could be applied to us personally both physically and mentally I think.
They are both made out of the same Pounamu. It is a translucent medium green with a few black spots and a light cloud pattern in some places.
