White Swirls – Pounamu Toki

The change of colour in this piece comes from the place it was cut from out of the original jade boulder.   Often the outside of a jade boulder is oxidized and is a different colour.

This piece shows the change.  The whiter top with streaks of brown comes from jade near the outside of the original boulder.  This then changes through swirls into solid translucent green Pounamu at the tip.  A beautiful interesting Jade.

Material – Pounamu (New Zealand Jade)
Toggle made out of the same Pounamu.
