Black Jade Toki

This stone is a tight, black jade from Australia. It has lightning fractures on the bottom part and black inclusions at the top. If you view the carving in sunlight the black inclusions are surrounded by a gray jade and have an almost chatoyant tonal change as you turn it. It’s all pretty understated but makes for an interesting piece.
