I carved this crab claw out of a beautiful piece of pounamu from the top of the South Island (Takaka).
The colour changes from the whiter rind, through a olive and into a soft speckled Inanga.
Material – Te Tauihu Pounamu (top of the South Island of New Zealand, Nelson Tasman)
Size – 35mm high
