Inanga Pounamu Toki

Design-wise this carving is based on a toki or chisel. A functional toki (with the end sharpened) would have been used as a tool for carving.

This pounamu is a swirly inanga on one side and light green with black inclusions on the other. Nice and translucent.

Material – South Westland Pounamu (NZ Jade)
