Jadeite Hammerhead Shark

This hammerhead shark is carved out of a beautiful blue/teal Guatemalan Jadeite.

I’ve taken photos in the shade as well as full sun so you can see the colour change. There is no holes in the carving for the cord so it could be worn or left as a small sculpture.

The jadeite changes to a yellow colour on the outside of the original cobble (see photo). I incorporated some of this in the bottom of the sculpture to mimic sand on the sea bed.

I think it would look equally good with a slightly thinner 4 plait cord.
